Welcome to Scottish Country Dancing in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada

Enjoy fellowship and fun in a warm friendly atmosphere at the White Rock Scottish Country Dance Club. Scottish Country Dancing is social dancing that is also excellent aerobic exercise. Learn the steps and formation of jigs, reels and the stylish strathspey. Bring a friend or come by yourself.

To enhance the elegance and beauty of Scottish country dancing, ladies should wear skirts and men should wear kilts, slacks or dress shorts. Soft comfortable shoes are recommended.

We dance from early September to the end of April on each Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Beginners join the rest of the Club members from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, there is a short break between 8:30 and 8:40 pm, more advanced dances are taught between 8:40 - 9:30 pm and advanced dances for those who know the dance are danced from 9:30 - 10:00 pm.
